Remember when making the best of it meant stuffing a funny mask in somebody’s stocking?
Hard to believe that just five Christmases ago, we were all building a wardrobe of masks to suit various occasions and moods. I found this little number for my husband in Walmart that year.
I hope that the holidays are jolly for you and yours, but I’ve seen enough Christmases to know that any number of things can make you want to say bah humbug as you make your way through the holiday juggernaut. Don’t let them steal your joy.
IMHO, ignoring the pressure to have the “Best Christmas Ever,” and striving instead to make this holiday the “Best Christmas It Can Be” is the way to go. It certainly was the key in 2020.
